ABOUT ABOUT

The United Way is pleased to partner with MilkCrate to present a webinar on modern engagement tools including a case study on The United Way of the Piedmont's Reading Buddies Program and their new mobile app by MilkCrate.

“We need [MilkCrate] more than ever!” - Janelle Touma Carlson  / Manager, Volunteer Engagement / United Way Worldwide, after hearing how one United Way in South Carolina launched a MilkCrate app for their volunteer program and is having great success with engagement and tracking.

MilkCrate founder and CEO Morgan Berman will lead a presentation structured around the Program Lifecycle of Nonprofit Program from Engage, to Enlist, to Evaluate and finally Endorse - this last step is the part where you can acknowledge the progress of your participants or volunteers, and then your program gets more funding for showing demonstrated impact!

During the presentation you will see MilkCrate case studies including one with a United Way affiliate that launched an app and for their volunteers. You will learn how to navigate decisions like when to build an app vs. website, discover tools for engaging participants inside and outside of their phones, as well as free or low cost content creation tools.

Following the presentations attendees will be able to ask questions in the chat window and will receive follow up information as well.

Testimonials from past presentations:

"I love the knowledge and guidance you bring to the table and look forward to continuing the conversation!" - L.P.
"Thank you so much Morgan.  It was indeed a pleasure hearing from you last night.  You gave Monique and I quite a bit to think about." - D.B.
